Overview:

The Online Learning Centre is a totally flexible language learning environment catering for beginners to the language through to advanced learners. You can access the Learning Centre any time and any place where internet access is available; particularly suitable for learners unable to attend regular classes.

Each course comprises a number of structured units, each of which is broken down into presentation and practice activities. Language is presented in a range of different ways which include video and audio supported dialogues and a complete support centre offering topic-based dialogues and key phrases which are supported both visually and with audio; audio supported bilingual glossaries and a comprehensive grammar section which teaches the foundations of the language.

A host of stimulating and varied interactive exercises let you practise and extend language learnt in the presentations. Instant feedback motivates and encourages progression. There are no limits or restrictions, activities can be repeated again and again until you feel comfortable with the language. Exercises not only cover a variety of language topics but include key grammatical structures, giving you a solid foundation on which to build your new language. A course tutor is also available offering additional learning advice and tips.

Scoring is available throughout and you can monitor your progress as you work through your course. HR Managers may also have results information in addition to numbers of learners using the system.

In addition to the exercises themselves, you can choose to take a language test in your chosen language, also available within the Learning Centre. This test will not only gauge initial learning level and recommend suitable courses within the Learning Centre but may also be used as a diagnostic test to measure language progress. At the end of the test you will receive an email detailing your score and recommending the most suitable course for you on the Learning Centre.
